Today's Fact:
More Than 12,000 Women Are Killed Each Year In Russia As A Result Of Domestic Violence
that's one every 43 minutes. not that i calculated. but it's frequency is so upsetting...
and now, since GP is freakin' tmr (!!!), the last ever of
2 useless facts:
#1- the original story from "tales of 1001 arabian nights" began with "aladdin was a little chinese boy"
haha little chinese boy... how misleading the disney version was!
#2- long ago (i don't know how long... g. washington's time?), paintings were charged based on how many limbs you wanted the painter to include in the portrait, from which came the saying "it will cost you an arm and a leg", cos they were so expensive!
and that concludes the series. thanks for reading ya'll! maybe i should include "useful cold war facts" next...

p.s. it has come to my attention that one of my very good friends has been scolded for some of the barbs that were part of the more recent posts. now, i don't get why she's being blamed, because my opinions were formulated with myself as a first-person observer, so that scolding was grossly unjustified. i wish for nothing more than a peaceful end to whatever's going on, but right now my mood reads "annoyed as hell", so we'll just have to wait and see.
but really, it is not fina's natural vice to hate. uggh. world peace, man! world peace! (and this can apply to anybody in any tense dealings; just a general rule that usually keeps situations calm) treat people with respect, like how you wish that person would treat you (darn cliched, but that's because it's true), and learn to compromise. then the world will be a better place!
